Scope and contact
This policy covers the coming-soon website at notthatsheep.schmutweiss.com and enquiries sent to us. Not That Sheep is not yet publicly available through this website. Browsing the gameplay previews does not create an app account or send gameplay data to the app backend. Information about processing in the released app will be provided with the app.
Looking to remove an existing test account or other information? Request account or data deletion.
The controller is:

Hosting and connection data
The website is hosted by Vercel Inc. When you visit, your browser sends connection data such as your IP address, the requested URL, time of access, browser information and, where supplied, a referring page. Vercel processes these data to deliver the website, diagnose failures and protect it from abuse. Our legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR: our legitimate interest in providing a reliable and secure website.
Vercel operates internationally, including in the United States. Its Data Processing Addendum includes the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses for relevant transfers. See also Vercel's privacy notice. You can contact us about applicable safeguards.
Cookies, analytics and media
We do not set cookies, use advertising or visitor analytics, embed third-party videos, or load external fonts on this website. Images and gameplay recordings are served with the website. Browser caching may store these files on your device. We do not use the website to build advertising profiles or make automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects.
When you contact us
If you email us, we process your address, message and any details you provide to answer your enquiry or handle your request. Our email service providers process the correspondence for delivery and storage. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR for contract-related enquiries, Article 6(1)(c) for data-protection obligations, or Article 6(1)(f) for other correspondence and our interest in responding.
Providing contact details is voluntary, but we may be unable to answer or verify a request without sufficient information. Please do not send passwords, payment card details or unnecessary sensitive information.
Retention
We do not maintain a separate visitor database or export access logs to another logging service. Vercel retains connection and security information according to the purpose of the record and its service retention arrangements. Operational information is deleted or anonymised when it is no longer needed for delivery, troubleshooting or security; information required for a legal obligation or a specific abuse incident may be retained for that purpose.
We retain correspondence while handling an enquiry and for as long as a legal obligation or the establishment, exercise or defence of a claim requires it. When those purposes end, we delete the correspondence. You can ask us about the retention applicable to your request.
Account and data deletion
Request deletion of a Not That Sheep account or associated data by emailing office@schmutweiss.com with the subject “Not That Sheep data deletion”. You do not need to install or sign into the app to send a request. Include the account email or username and tell us whether you want to delete the whole account or particular data. We may ask for proportionate proof that the account belongs to you.
If you have a test build, you can also use Profile → Settings → Delete account and confirm. The current action removes the sign-in account, profile, cloud progress, account-linked scores and friend connections. Groups and tournaments can pass to remaining members. The separate guest save on your phone remains.
The current test build does not automatically erase every associated record: shared group or tournament images and technical records used to prevent duplicate progress imports may remain. Include any shared images or other information you want removed in your request so that they can be reviewed and cleaned up. We will explain any information that must be retained and why.
Optional usage data are separate from your account. In a test build, turn off Share usage data in Profile or Settings to stop collection and request deletion for that installation; a pending request retries when online. Do this before uninstalling if you wish to use this mechanism. An account email alone does not identify installation-based usage records.
Deleting an account does not itself issue a purchase refund or delete information held independently by Apple or Google. You can ask us about records held by service providers on our behalf.
Your rights
Where applicable, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction or portability of your personal data. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests and withdraw any consent without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing. Contact office@schmutweiss.com.
We respond to rights requests without undue delay and normally within one month. If an extension is permitted because of the complexity or number of requests, we will explain it within that month. You may complain to the Austrian Data Protection Authority or another competent supervisory authority.
Changes
We update this policy when the website or its data processing changes. This version applies to the coming-soon website; it is not a statement that the app has completed its store-release review.
